To Calculate Elapsed Years

To process a single date into the number of elapsed years, use the following format.

Usage
[timeless-text y=2000 m=3 d=15 text=false]

Arguments
- y
  Required The year value of the date to calculate.
- m
  Optional The month value of the date to calculate. Defaults to 1.
- d
  Optional The day value of the date to calculate. Defaults to 1.
- text
  Optional Set to false to suppress the text portion and only return the integer value. Defaults to true.
Examples

Gets the content of a file from a GitHub repository and outputs using the [github-file] shortcode.

Settings allow default options, such as author, folder, filename to be specified. Additional options to allow the removal or conversion of WordPress headers in readme.txt files.

Available shortcode parameters:
- account – account on GitHub
- branch – branch to get file from
- folder – folder containing the file
- file – file to get from GitHub repository
- repository – name of GitHub repository
- startfrom – text in file to start outputting from (e.g. # Description)
- htmlastext – 1 to output HTMl as text and 0 to output as HTML
- shortcodesastext – 1 to output shortcodes as text and 0 to output as shortcode
- wordpresstitles – remove/ignore/convert
All parameters except repository can be defined as defaults in settings.

Example shortcode usage:

Sidebar Login adds a useful login widget which can be used to login from in the sidebar of your ClassicPress powered blog; once a user logs in they are redirected back to the page they logged in from rather than the admin panel (this is configurable).

The following tags can be used in the widget settings for titles and links and will be replaced at runtime:
- %username% – logged in users display name
- %userid% – logged in users ID
- %firstname% – logged in users firstname
- %lastname% – logged in users lastname
- %name% – logged in users firstname and lastname
- %admin_url% – url to WP admin
- %logout_url% – logout url
- %avatar% – User Avatar
Notes
- Due to AJAX not working across different domains (see same_origin_policy), AJAX logins will be disabled if your site it non-SSL, but the FORCE_SSL_ADMIN constant is set to true. Instead it will fallback to a traditional POST.

Shortcode [short-url] or function azrcrv_urls_get_custom_shortlink can be called from themes or other plugins to retrieve the custom short URL.

Will the plugin fully copy custom post type items?

Yes. The plugin works with all custom post types and the duplicate record contains the same taxonomy associations and metadata as the original.

Can I duplicate an item’s main fields, without the taxonomy and metadata?

No. A partial copy isn’t a carbon copy, after all.

How do I copy something?

Visit the admin page for the post, page, or custom post type that you want to copy. Hover any row and you will see a link to Duplicate the item. If you are currently editing an item, there’s also a Duplicate button available. In either place, you can use CTRL+click to open the newly created item in a new tab.

Where are the setting located?

There are no settings. The plugin is designed to just work.

What about short URLs – won’t duplication break something?

It would, yes. And that’s why, when you duplicate an item that supports permalinks, the newly created item will have a hyphen and a number appended to it. You can then change the permalink for the new item to whatever you like. And, if you happen to forget to change the permalink on the new item, at least it won’t break anything.

Installation
- Download the zip file to your local computer
- Login to your ClassicPress website.
- Navigate to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Upload the zip file to your site
- Click to Install the plugin
- Click to Activate the plugin
