Description

Displays an index of series posts using the [series-index] shortcode, an index of every series on the site using the [index-of-series] shortcode, and a link back to a series’ index post using the [series-index-link] shortcode. This plugin is multi-site compatible and can optionally integrate with the Toggle Show/Hide plugin from azurecurve. The format of the index and other options are user configurable through an admin page.

Two custom fields (Series and Series Pos) need to be added to each post in the series; these fields are used for selecting the posts and ordering them when the index is displayed. The post that should act as the series’ index post should have a Series Pos of 0 (this is used for determining the link for the header).

This plugin is multisite compatible; each site will need settings to be configured in the admin dashboard.

My index isn’t showing any posts after upgrading to 2.0.0, what happened?

Versions prior to 2.0.0 had a long-standing bug where the plugin’s database queries never actually matched the Series/Series Pos custom fields correctly (see the 2.0.0 changelog entry below) – so if your index was already empty or incomplete before upgrading, 2.0.0 should fix it rather than break it. If an index that previously worked stops working after upgrading, check that your custom field names are exactly Series and Series Pos (the plugin also still matches the older Series Position/SERIES POS/SERIES POSITION spellings for the position field as a fallback).

- Fixed a bug where the plugin misused the comments_template filter as if it were an action, risking the comments template failing to load on some sites; shortcode restriction is now applied entirely within the comment_text filter itself.
- Fixed a bug where the allow-list restriction could remain in effect for the rest of the page after a comment was rendered, on any theme/template that doesn’t fire dynamic_sidebar().
- Fixed allowed-shortcodes entries with surrounding whitespace (e.g. “b, i, u”) not matching correctly, and entries on separate lines not being treated as separators.
- Fixed a PHP warning on a never-configured settings page (defaults weren’t actually applied on read).
- Removed the multisite network-wide settings feature (Network Admin > Settings > Shortcodes in Comments and the per-site “Use Network Settings” option) – it was never really supported by ClassicPress and, on top of that, was found to be non-functional in the pre-2.0.0 plugin (the save form posted to the wrong endpoint for the action hook that was registered, so saving network settings silently did nothing). Each site now always uses its own Settings tab.

Description

Easily add an icon to a post, page or other post type using the [icon] shortcode.

For example, to display the note icon, shortcode usage is [icon id="note"] (the shorthand [icon=note] is also supported); 1,001 icons from the famfamfam Silk collection are included, as PNGs.

A width attribute can be used to override the default width for that icon, e.g. [icon id="note" width="24px"]; if not specified, width defaults to a value configured separately for PNG and SVG icons on the Settings tab. A border attribute is also supported, e.g. [icon id="note" border="1px solid black"].

Custom icons can be added, as PNG or SVG; if a custom icon has the same name as a standard icon, the custom icon will be used. If both a PNG and an SVG custom icon share the same name, the SVG will be used.

Shortcodes In Comments can be used to allow flags in comments and Shortcodes In Widgets can allow them in widgets.

This plugin is multisite compatible.

featured-image shortcode allows a floating featured image to be placed at the top of a post. Default settings can be entered to simplify the use of the plugin.

When used several parameters are available for use:
1. image – to use an image other than the default.
2. title – set a title on the image (will appear in the tooltip).
3. alt – enter the alt text for when the image cannot be displayed.
4. taxonomy – enter a category or tag name or slug to have a hyperlink added to the image.
5. is_tag – set to 1 for when the taxonomy should be a tag instead of a category.
List of images can be saved for easy use in future.

Conditional Links allows shortcodes to be created which will automatically link when a page, post, or custom post type exists with the matching slug. If the conditionally linked target exists, the text will be wrapped in anchor tags; otherwise plain text will be returned.

The following shortcodes are available:
- cond-link for any registered post type (uses the post_type parameter, defaults to post).
- cpl for page links.
- cbl for blog post links.

Description

Comment Validator protects your site from spam by replacing simple pass/fail checks with a cumulative scoring engine. Each comment is assessed across multiple layers — honeypot detection, secure time tokens, JavaScript verification, user interaction tracking, rate limiting, IP reputation, and content analysis including link density, spam keywords, all-caps ratio, repeated characters, duplicate detection, and disposable email domains.

Each check contributes a configurable weight to a total score. When the score reaches the moderation threshold the comment is held for review; when it reaches the spam threshold it is marked as spam and the submitting IP has its reputation score incremented, making future submissions from that address increasingly likely to be caught. IP reputation scores decay daily so legitimate users are not permanently penalised.

All weights and thresholds are adjustable from the settings page without touching code. The spam score and triggered rules for each comment are displayed directly in the comments list, making moderation triage quick and transparent.

This plugin is multisite compatible; each site can be set to use network settings or locally defined ones.
