The Enriched Editor plugin adds lots of additional options to the ClassicPress visual editor. This plugin is a fork of TinyMCE Advanced for WordPress and contains no Gutenberg code.

Pre-Installation

If you already have TinyMCE Advanced or WYWIWYG Advanced installed, you will need to deactivate and delete before installing Enriched Editor. If you want to preserve your current editor settings, you can export them to a text file before deleting the current plugin. You can then import those settings back into Enriched Editor after you get it installed.

- Enable Editor for Primary Screens
  Enable the Enriched Editor for primary editing screens, including those for posts, pages, and custom post types.
- Enable Editor for Secondary Areas
  Enable the Enriched Editor for secondary editing areas, including those for text widgets and other textarea inputs.

The Estimated Read Time plugin for ClassicPress allows you to display expected reading times on your articles and summaries. The average person reads at 200 words per minute, so, that’s the default setting. You can change it with a simple filter to suit your own audience and content.

This plugin is multisite compatible; each site will need settings to be configured in the admin dashboard.

Installation
- Download the latest release of the plugin from GitHub.
- Upload the entire zip file using the Plugins upload function in your ClassicPress admin panel.
- Activate the plugin.
To provide the most versatile placement options, the estimated read time display is implemented with a shortcode that is designed to be placed in your theme template files. It may require some experimenting to find just the right templates for your particular theme, but you can try the content.php, single.php, archive.php, and page.php templates as a starting point.

Note that the shortcode is designed to work in templates that are in the loop, so you won’t be able to place the shortcode in, say, your header.php or footer.php files. See the examples below and place one or the other into your theme’s template file(s) where you would like the estimated read time to be displayed.

There is only a single setting, you can use this filter in a functionality plugin or functions.php file:

If you are using a theme that is a parent theme (as opposed to a child theme) you will need to be cautious about updating your theme because the update will overwrite all the theme files. To avoid this, you have several options, as follows. Options are listed in the order of preference.
1. use a child theme and add your shortcodes to your child theme’s templates, or
2. use a theme that you built yourself to avoid surprise updates, or
3. carefully copy your shortcodes out of your theme files before updating, then replacing them afterward, or
4. continue using the parent theme, but don’t update it.

Allows content to be injected before, within and after the loop. All content is configurable via an admin settings page.

Each of the three content locations can be activated individually and the location within the loop is configurable; perfect for injecting adverts. Shortcodes are supported in Loop Injection.

This plugin is multisite compatible; each site has its own independent settings and needs its content configured separately in the admin dashboard.

- Fixed a bug where the “Position Within Loop” setting was off by one post: WP_Query’s internal post counter is zero-indexed, so a setting of “5” previously injected the advert after the 6th post rather than the 5th. It now injects after the Nth post, matching the field’s description.
- Fixed a bug where the within-loop advert was not reliably scoped to the main query, unlike the before/after-loop adverts: the hook it used fires for every loop on a page (including widgets and other secondary queries), and the plugin’s only safeguard against leaking into those was an unreliable comparison against the global $wp_query object. It now checks is_main_query() directly, the same way the before/after-loop adverts already did.
- Fixed an undefined-function fatal-error risk: a network-admin save action was hooked to a function, azrcrv_li_save_network_options(), that was never actually defined anywhere in the plugin.
- Removed the multisite network-wide settings feature (Network Admin > Settings > Loop Injection and the per-site “Use Network Settings” option) – it was never really supported by ClassicPress and, on top of that, was found to be non-functional in the pre-2.0.0 plugin (the “Use Network Settings” checkbox was read from one option key but saved to a different one, and the Network Admin page had no form of its own to submit to the undefined save handler in the first place). Each site now always uses its own Settings tab.
- Fixed several admin-facing strings using the wrong translation text domain (copy-pasted from another azurecurve plugin), which meant they silently failed to translate.
- Fixed malformed markup (stray closing </em> tags with no matching opening tag) on the Settings page.
- Removed a leftover, empty (0-byte) jQuery asset that was bundled but never enqueued or used.
- Removed an empty, unused front-end stylesheet that was unconditionally enqueued on every front-end page load.
- Fixed an inefficient plugin_action_links hook so it no longer runs for every plugin on the Plugins list page.
- Replaced the hard-coded plugin menu list with a standard, auto-generated Other Plugins tab.
- Added an Instructions tab, including an explicit explanation of how “Position Within Loop” is counted.
- Added a proper uninstall.php restyled for consistency with the rest of the azurecurve plugin family (same cleanup behaviour as before).
- BREAKING: minimum PHP requirement raised to 8.2.
- BREAKING: text domain renamed from loop-injection to azrcrv-li; existing translation (.po/.mo) files must be re-supplied under the new domain.
- BREAKING: translation Domain Path moved from /languages to /assets/languages.

Will the plugin fully copy custom post type items?

Yes. The plugin works with all custom post types and the duplicate record contains the same taxonomy associations and metadata as the original.

Can I duplicate an item’s main fields, without the taxonomy and metadata?

No. A partial copy isn’t a carbon copy, after all.

How do I copy something?

Visit the admin page for the post, page, or custom post type that you want to copy. Hover any row and you will see a link to Duplicate the item. If you are currently editing an item, there’s also a Duplicate button available. In either place, you can use CTRL+click to open the newly created item in a new tab.

Where are the setting located?

There are no settings. The plugin is designed to just work.

What about short URLs – won’t duplication break something?

It would, yes. And that’s why, when you duplicate an item that supports permalinks, the newly created item will have a hyphen and a number appended to it. You can then change the permalink for the new item to whatever you like. And, if you happen to forget to change the permalink on the new item, at least it won’t break anything.

- Login to your ClassicPress website.
- Navigate to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Upload the zip file to your site
- Click to Install the plugin
- Click to Activate the plugin
