Theme Switcher

Plugin Description

Theme Switcher lets site visitors switch between installed themes from the front end of your ClassicPress site.

Description

Theme Switcher lets site visitors switch between installed themes from the front end of your ClassicPress site. A cookie stores each user’s preference, so their choice persists across visits.

Features:

  • Classic widget, [theme_switcher] shortcode, and template function
  • Dropdown or list display
  • Configurable cookie lifetime (or session cookie)
  • Restrict switching to logged-in users or admins only
  • Optional “reset to site default” entry
  • Filter themes by prefix or substring
  • Multisite network allow-list support
  • Namespaced azrcrv-ts-* CSS classes on all front-end output — easy to style from your theme
  • No inline styles or inline JavaScript
  • Progressive enhancement: dropdown navigates on change when JS is available, falls back to a submit button without JS
  • CSRF protection via nonces on all switch requests
